Self-Discipline

''yahoo'',Calvin shouted happily. He sped over the school's gate, because he wanted to play football with his friends. When he went home his mother asked him furiously''where have you been Calvin''.His face was tight with strain and babbled to himself,''em, em I've been playing football with my friends''.'' what! your exam is next week you know''.Every single day he had one excuse. Finally it was the exam time.He was not prepared at all. When he sat for the exam he was totally complicated.
He scribbled on that poor sheet of exam paper. When the invigilater handed out the exam paper ,he was so dissappointed with his results. He was trembling with fear.''what am I going to say''. ''Calvin your results are right in your bag aren't they? You friend Alana Lim that the results were all out''.''Mum yes its true but I've not done well for my exams mum please do forgive meeee please''. ''Ok the final warning for you'',said his mother. After the warning he pushed away all his bad habits and pulled all the concentration of the good habits .He studied very hard for then sa 2.
His parents were so impressed by his behaviour.
Calvin dilligently stayed up late for revising. He studied through all his study notes. After two weeks of intense preparations , he finally sat for the sa2 exam,he easily answered all the questions without hesitation.
When the invigilater handed up the exam results he was amazed by the results he got. When he got home he told to his mother happily that he was the class first and he got full marks in every subject. His parents were so proud of him.At last he growed the self discipline in him.

Entry 18: Reflective Time for Science (Light Energy)

Dear friends,
Lights can be used to do many things,at home I use light to see what I am writing, watch television, playing games on computer and so on.At school we use lights to do our work and more.
Lights help us to see things clearly.Light helps in our daily life. The sources of light are light bulb, torch light, candle light, fire and sun.Imagine what the world would be like without light,we might bump into each other, the plants cannot grow well because it does not have sunlight and it cannot produce oxygen amd more cases.

Entry 17: Classroom Cleanliness

Dear majesties,
I require that classroom cleanliness is important, because the dirt in our classroom affects us.
My classroom is a bit clean and I love it.But we must be responsible ,we must throw litter in the dustbin not on the floor. As a student I have wiped the board and sweeped the floor thats all.
I have learned that cleaning is important.

Entry 15: SA 1 Review

Yes , I think i am tested fairly because everything I revised has come. But i always make careless mistake that's why i lose my marks. For more practice I use assessment book that my mother bought for me.My parents said that they need to see greater improvement in me.I myself set up the time to study so it won't mix up with other activities I need to do.My tuition has really helped me a well as my parents. They motivated me in a strong manner.I really want to thank them for their gratefulness.Oh! yes our teacher Mrs Diana Tan she has strongly encouraged us.She teach us so carefully.I like the time when she teaches math so nice.I am really grateful to my parents and teachers.

Circulatory System more elobrale

For transport in plants, see Vascular tissue.
This article is about the organ system. For the band, see Circulatory System.

The human circulatory system. Red indicates oxygenated blood, blue indicates deoxygenated.
The circulatory system is an organ system that moves nutrients, gases, and wastes to and from cells to help fight diseases and help stabilize body temperature and pH to maintain homeostasis. This system may be seen strictly as a blood distribution network, but some consider the circulatory system as composed of the cardiovascular system, which distributes blood, and the lymphatic system, which distributes lymph. While humans, as well as other vertebrates, have a closed cardiovascular system (meaning that the blood never leaves the network of arteries, veins and capillaries), some invertebrate groups have an open cardiovascular system. The most primitive animal phyla lack circulatory system. The lymphatic system, on the other hand, is an open system.
The main components of the human circulatory system are the heart, the blood, and the blood vessels. The circulatory system includes: the pulmonary circulation, a "loop" through the lungs where blood is oxygenated; and the systemic circulation, a "loop" through the rest of the body to provide oxygenated blood. An average adult contains five to six quarts (roughly 4.7 to 5.7 litres) of blood, which consists of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Also, the digestive system works with the circulatory system to provide the nutrients the system needs to keep the heart pumping.
Two types of fluids move through the circulatory system: blood and lymph. The blood, heart, and blood vessels form the cardiovascular system. The lymph, lymph nodes, and lymph vessels form the lymphatic system. The cardiovascular system and the lymphatic system collectively make up the circulatory system.

  5. Circulatory system

Total five systems.

Now as you think the function of this systems are:

Skeletal system:Shapes our body

Digestive system:____________?(Guess your answer=Easy Busy)

There is many more.

If you take a pencil there are systems in it.

Entry 14: Kindness

Kindness is something humans all should have, something a bit generous.A kind deed is always a perfect deed. The Singapore Kindness Movement has made April a kindness month. As a truth I havent done one for april. But it is not a good thing.Although I have done for the other months as well.Yes it is really important for people to be kind because then the world will be a hump with people so harsh.(Including Me)The people can show their kindness by helping in a simple way. That will do I think.Hmm...Ok when a old man was going pass the road there was a huge stone I took it up and throw it to another side. This a good deed huh.I really felt proud of myself for doing the good thing. But one thing to tell do it for the community dont except to much.I can promote myself by being a good example.Thank you friends.(do well for exams)

Entry 12: Improving the School

Well I think that the school is already improved, but for more improvement......
We have to just polish it up.I think the restroom is a good idea for such a improvement. We should make it very colourful.Together with the pupils (including me) must keep the restroom a clean place. The field too it must be clean after recess the pupils go to the field to play so the thing happens by that muscular way. Now I've told you my big opinions.I like the AVA room best.I partially dislike the field. But its going better and better. But the other parts school is almost done.Andersonions are sure ready to improve! Telling for sure.Lets be active and take part babe.If we go on like this the school will be a much much better place for us to study.

Friday, April 3, 2009

Entry 9: APSVoice

Yes Mrs Tan you are right we must take care of our own belongings. We must grow ownership of ourself.Everyday during national anthem Mrs Nam is saying this.As per there is one case not solved yet.Look at some children they just ignore everything and do whatever they want to do.

Yes I know we have to play but leave your belongings in a proper place. For example you lost something and its your fault so in the sudden minute you will surely tell to the general office. This is not their responsibility right.Ok always keep your bag with a bunch of bags.He you heard of this story called a bunch of sticks.I think you know cause it was in last years exams.

Entry 8: Review of T1 Target-Setting Exercise

The purpose of setting targets is a superb achieving excercise. It is useful because it helps to reach to the clouds.I set what I will reach e.g you want 50%5o but you only scored 38%5o,so dont do higher targets just look for yourself if you can do it then do it.When I set the targets I planned to do more than I do than usual. So I do the homework first the most important thing,Doing homework is far more better than complaining about poor results later!.Then I would do revision in my files for more than a hour. Then I will do asessment too and so on.My parents help me by motivating me alot and revising with me very equal to a teacher.I will always say "You can do it man you can dont be lazy dont be lazy".The teacher gave us rewards to motivate us this is also a simple way.I am looking foward to read your posts guys.

Entry 7: Festivals in Singapore

Well I celebrate Hari Raya cause I am a Indian Muslim. There are a few festiveles hich I know Chinese New Year,Deepavali,Christmas,Thaipusam,Easter,Good Friday and further. These particular festivals have a legend or a history occured so people celebrate this festivels for the god or for rememberings.Altogether one nation one harmony. We must be have known each others religion as far as you can the whole legend memberised so we dont make mistakes for example:There is a Chinese New Year celebration you must give red colour packet instead you gave white colour packet so what will the people think? You answer(they will take you wrong right.)

Entry 6: March Term Break

As a routine we have our silent reading every morning.Well reading is a good habit. Many students read thickish storybook i have noticed.
  1. 1. Why do you think the school gets the pupils to read every morning?THe schoolwants to read because they want us to speak good and in a fermant proper way and it is for our own good.
  2. 2. Do you like it? Why? f course I do its enjoyable and its fun but sometimes people will take it for granted like huh just for fun thats a wrong way to relate it.
  3. 3. Do you like reading? Why?Yap I like reading, all the words i read are powered by my brain which means I underline the word and the I will check on my Electronic Dictionary.
  4. 4. What kinds of books do you like to read?Hmm I dont like a little comic books but I like Storybooks alot heha
  5. 5. Do you think reading will help you with your school work? WhyYes,but not for maths only a little bit for problem sums mostly for english only.
  6. 6. How can the school encourage pupils to read?Hmm I dont know the question
  7. 7. Could you recommend a book you really like to read? Write the author and tell us why you like to read his/her book?
Hear from you!Enid Blyton and Roald DHal they are famous.

Entry 5: Activities Outside School

Like Mrs Tan have just told many people are involved in outside school activities even our teacher.I will tell you my activities.

Volleyball,Kumon,swimming,tution,cca*(digital media club)and alot.

Volleyball is 2 hours 3days ,Kumon is nearly anytime2 days ,Tution is 3 hours3 days ,cca is 2 and a half hours friday .I am involved because they are quite interesting.Ya its neccasary for me.
This particular activities dont affect my studies really alot but a little bit.No i dont feel stressed but really good.In my opinion pupil should be involved because we have to work extra, not just go home ,put bag in a corner ,eat lunch, do homework ,go to school again.

Entry 4: Journey Earth Hour 2009

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zd1BsNvEXqo,
Dearest Class I have gaven the particular web to watch please do watch it.
Now let me tell u I am going to paticipate in the journey my sisters birthday which falls on March 28 same to Earth Hour.8.30pm.Everybody will of their light and turn on the candles.
Thats because it is for climate change. Fighting climate change by not real fighting we do by turning electricity off this helps us fight in a proper way.

w much about earth hour my friends could you please give me some details.

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel is a correct example for calculaters but please dont use it as a calculator.I must really thanks Ms Elle for sharing with us her IT brain.Well then we could make lists such as shopping lists even bills to pay somebody or the GST and it is a comprehensive useful way.Mrs Tan I have small little question which requires Who found Microsoft? Excel is usually called workbooks or sheet1,sheet2,sheet3 and so on.Sometimes my freinds got diffficulties with this even me so when the teachers teach us I just take it in my mind without knowing more details about it just to arrogant that I know everything but @ the last when I do I fail to it and I must call the teachers.I like using Excel because its amazing I learn how to insert tools ,format the cells correctly and using it as a mathematical instrument ha ha.2 things are that Excel is very fast mended and simple a bit confusing too hoo hoo.
It is useful by serving us cell which let us sort things out. Many employees use it as a part of buisness works.

I was so sad that they dont get to have thier reunion dinner or Chinese New Year.I wish them speedy recovery. We gave them goodies with oranges, jelly, and biscuits. They shaked hands with us.We were all very careful not to have diseases from them. There were wards. Some wards were full of sick people.I learnt alot when I grow up we must not leave our parents out there.I was nearly going to cry when I heard my friends stories. We must help those who are alot sick

RECAP

Hi bloggers so now do you know blog NETIQUETTE. Good.
NOTE:THIS PICTURES ARE FROM THE WEB

Monday, January 19, 2009

Entry 1: Blog Netiquette

What do you think is blog netiquette is?I think that you must ask permission from the author who published the things.
We can even write the website the pictures are from. .If we do not do we mignt be prisoned. We can see but cannot take them.If we chat we must talk friendly.

As for us we cannot tell personal things to our friends or chatters online. So be careful.
It will be a big problem. We also cannot write personal things blogs too.We have many cases about that.
